Recent Achievements and Recognitions Dr. Donald Kucharzyk is very active in the orthopaedic community, recently authoring textbook chapters such as “The Role of Minimally Invasive Surgery in Instrumented Lumbar Fusions”, “The Role of Biologics in lumbar Interbody Fusions”, and “The Role of Electrical Stimulation in Enhancing Fusions with Autograft, Allograft, and Bone Graft Substitutes” in Spinal reconstruction by Informa Healthcare Publishing, and a chapter entitled “Minimally Invasive Surgery in Instrumented Lumbar Fusions” in a second textbook. He often lectures around the word, most recently attending IMAST Hong Kong 2008 where he presented "The Role of Interbody Technology in Instrumented Lumbar Fusions the Use of PEEK Interbodies for Sagittal Balance", "The Role of PEEK rods for Dynamic Stabilization and Prevention of Add on Instability", and "The Role of Progenix for Use in Augmentation of Posterolateral Spinal Fusions". Dr. Kucharzyk is also widely recognized with achievements such as Consumer Research Council of America America's Top Orthopedists by Children's Orthopaedics and Spinal Surgery, Montclairs Who's Who in Healthcare, and Stratmore's Who's Who.
